Hormuzda joined Al Mulla Group in May 2005, as General Manager-Finance. His exemplary dedication to excellence and professionalism over the first 10 years of his tenure has earned him the respect and admiration of his peers and superiors, and led to his progression through the corporate ranks to assume his current position in the Group. In his current role, Hormuzda leads two main Business Groups namely; Trading & Manufacturing, and Financial Services. In addition, Hormuzda oversees the SAP implementation for the different Business Groups using the SAP platforms to ensure continuous efficiency and application of the most advanced technologies.

Hormuzda is a Chartered Accountant from India, with 40 years’ post qualification experience in diverse industries such as Petroleum Refining and Marketing, Garments Manufacturing and Exports, Logistics, Hospitality, Non-Banking Financial Services, Insurance, Trading and Manufacturing. Throughout his career, Hormuzda has gone beyond Finance and Accounts, to take charge of Businesses and use the power of Information Technology as also Continuous Improvement to provide customers of these businesses a compelling reason to be loyal, and thereby ensure continuous and profitable growths of the businesses. He was also the Chairman of the Kuwait Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
