Al Mulla Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Rohit Bhasin as the Group’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Bhasin assumed this position on the 1st of April 2022, following the announcement of his predecessor Mr. Minoo F. Patel that he would retire from his position after more than 35 years of service at Al Mulla Group; whilst remaining a full-time Advisor to the Group.

At an official handover and transition of post ceremony held at Al Mulla Group Head Office in Kuwait, the new Chief Financial Officer Mr. Bhasin thanked Mr. Patel for his many years of dedication to the company, and for his exemplary leadership of the Group’s Finance function. He wished him a happy retirement, whilst maintaining strong ties with the Al Mulla Group as full-time Advisor to the Group.

Through his more than three decades of service and unconditional loyalty and devotion to the Group, Mr. Patel laid the foundations of a diverse Finance function at Al Mulla Group, which helped in realizing the tremendous growth across the Group’s divisions over the years. Mr. Patel leaves behind him a legacy of professionalism and contribution to the Group’s continuous success and prosperity well into the future. He was the founder and partner of Company of Science & Technology for Higher Education WLL, the parent company of Kuwait College of Science and Technology, an affiliate of Al Mulla Group.

Mr. Rohit Bhasin joined Al Mulla Group in April 2016 as General Manager – Finance. Since then, he took on various leadership roles and responsibilities including Deputy Chief Financial Officer, a post he kept until recently. In his new role, Mr. Bhasin will lead the Finance function at Al Mulla Group, including Corporate Finance, Group Treasury, Group Financial Accounts, Merger & Acquisition Initiatives, Audit, Risk Management and Governance.
