Recognizing the need and demand for turnkey car rental solutions in Qatar, Al Mulla Rental & Leasing Co. and Nasser Bin Khaled Al Thani & Sons (NBK Group) of Qatar set up Select Transportation Solutions (Select) as a joint venture in 2005.
The partners set out with the vision of creating the largest car rental company in Qatar, for both individual as well as corporate clients. Successfully replicating the proven business model of AMRL in Kuwait, Select has today achieved the title of the leading car rental company in Qatar with an active fleet of over 1,000 vehicles. The list of clientele serviced by Select includes Chevron, Shell, Archirodon, CDE Ireland, Kempe (Australia), Gama Qatar (Turkish Construction Co.) among others.
